This is My Story

I was born August 7, 1996 in Bogota, Colombia with an eternal love for the beautiful game. I have played football my entire life and with each day my passion for the game grows. My ultimate goal is to not only become a professional player, but to become the best in the world at my position; I call this a “goal” and not a “dream” because I will achieve it. Although I know the competition is strong and the chances are slim, I believe I possess the correct attributes, both mentally, physically, and emotionally to achieve my goal.

I’ve been referred to as a “natural born leader”. Having been named captain of my former clubs as well as my current college has taught me daily about how to handle different personalities, adversity and continue to strive and motivate my teammates while most importantly, leading by example. I’m extremely focused and dedicated to improve not only myself but those around me at all times.

I believe in the success of the group over the individual and that by understanding and sticking to my role, is the best way to benefit my team. I believe I am quick-minded, quick-to-adapt, and have a thorough understanding of the game to the point I can think several plays ahead.

My biggest motivation has been the love and support of my family, and because of them I know, regardless of those who have doubted me, I have continued and will continue to succeed as I desire and expect greatness from myself.
